In 2018 he received a collaboration scholarship (November 2018–June 2019) from the Spanish Ministry of Education, to carry out research on CORIECOR (Corpus of Irish English Correspondence) at the Department of English at UNEX. He also obtained a ten-month grant (2019–2020) from the UNEX which enabled him to stay at Kalamazoo College (Michigan, USA) as a teaching assistant of Spanish. From May to August 2024, he stayed at the University of Birmingham on a three-month research stay, under the supervision of Dr. Matteo Fuoli and with competitive funding from the Spanish Government (Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovación y Universidades, grant EST24/00174).
