Carlos Prado-Alonso’s research monograph Full-verb inversion in written and spoken English (Peter Lang, 2011) received the ESSE Book Award 2012 for Junior Scholars in the category ‘English Language and Linguistics’. The winners of these prestigious awards were publicly announced at the General Meeting of the 11th ESSE Conference, held in Istanbul.
