Carlos Prado-Alonso and Paula Rodríguez-Puente, members of the VLCG group based at the University of Oviedo, were appointed editors of Research in Corpus Linguistics (RiCL), the official journal of AELINCO, the Spanish Association for Corpus Linguistics. Their nomination and subsequent election took place during the business meeting of CILC XI, held at the University of Valencia from 15 to 17 May. Carlos and Paula took over from María José López-Couso and Javier Pérez-Guerra (University of Vigo), who served as Editors-in-Chief from the launch of the journal in March 2013 to May 2019.
